How to search for a location:
Enter the
Area Development Section of this Economic Development Network
website to a list of countries around the world. Select
a country. You will either find information and links on a
single page or a series. You will be moving towards information
about places at the local
level and their location
data suppliers. A search
promise is available if you want assistance.
How to find a location not listed in The Network:
1. The most expedient thing to do is to send
an email identifying the location to us (who
we are). Our response will be to publish its identity in
each of the three
websites of The Network. We will respond
to your email, without soliciting, to tell you when we are done
and where to find the information we publish. Services are provided
without cost or obligation. We also publish links to contact
data for area
and local development representatives and other location
data suppliers for free in Economic
Development.net.
2. Search the
Global Registry of Contacts to see if the location is listed
there.
3. Search
the Regional Site Selection Directory to see if the location
is listed there.
4. Use the Google/.network search
engine or any
other that you may choose. In the event that your search does
not produce the results you want or you
reach a dead end at any point, the promise
of The Network will be available. Also, see Search

How to suggest that a location be listed for free
in Economic Development.net:
Send an email
identifying the location to us (who
we are). If you are in position to provide complimentary information
about one or more locations to economic
development prospects, you should instead send an email
to apply
for a record in the Global Registry of Contacts. When we act
on your suggestion and publish information in the
Area Development Section of the Economic Development Network website,
we will respond to your email and tell you where to find what we
publish. Services are provided without cost or obligation.
How to find resource and service suppliers who
are not location data suppliers:
As an addendum to the Area
Development Section of this Economic Development Network website we
offer to publish information about the services
and service areas of those who have up-to-date records
in the Global Registry of Contacts. To find contacts, you
should search
the GRC directory. It is suggested that services and service
area information published in Economic Development.net contain keywords
and phrases that aid searching see
the pages
in the introduction to The Network about searching or
the Google/.network search
